Align Your Frequency, Amplify Your Impact.

Raymond Sjolseth

Welcome

I've spent most of my professional life building, operating, and advising businesses through periods of change—sometimes by design, often by necessity.

Across multiple ventures and cycles, I’ve learned that outcomes are rarely determined by effort alone. They are shaped by clarity, timing, alignment, and the ability to make sound decisions when pressure is highest.

My work today reflects that understanding.

How I Think About Work

I’m drawn to complexity—not because it’s interesting, but because it’s where most breakdowns occur.

Whether the context is growth, capital, leadership, or transition, the underlying issue is often the same: misalignment between intent, structure, and execution. When those elements drift, friction accumulates. When they align, momentum becomes sustainable.

Much of my work—both privately and publicly—explores how individuals and organizations move from resistance to resonance by addressing those gaps directly.

Background

My career began as an operator. I co-founded and scaled an early-stage LED technology company years ahead of mainstream adoption, navigating product development, manufacturing, capital constraints, and market education in a rapidly evolving category.

That experience, along with subsequent advisory and operating roles, provided a firsthand education in:

- building ahead of demand

- managing risk under uncertainty

- aligning people, capital, and execution

- and understanding how fragile progress can be when structure lags ambition

Those lessons continue to inform how I think, write, and engage today.

My Work Today

My advisory work with sponsors, founders, and operating companies is conducted through Resonance Exchange, a private platform focused on capital alignment and strategic preparation.

Separately, this site serves as a home for my independent writing and long-form thinking—exploring themes of alignment, leadership, decision-making, and long-term value creation.

The two are intentionally distinct.

What I share here reflects perspective, pattern recognition, and experience. It is not investment advice, solicitation, or a substitute for professional counsel.

Writing & Conversation

I write to clarify my own thinking and to offer frameworks that others may find useful as they navigate growth, uncertainty, or transition.

My work often touches on:

- alignment before action

- Identity and responsibility

- leadership under pressure

- capital as a mirror of decision-making

- and the difference between motion and progress

Occasionally, these ideas take shape through essays, a private newsletter, or long-form conversations.

A Note on Intent

I’m less interested in volume than in depth.
Less interested in visibility than in coherence.
Less interested in speed than in durability.

This site exists as a place to think clearly, write honestly, and connect ideas over time.

Driving Growth. Amplifying Impact.
